Individual therapy for relationship issues
Relationships can be the source of some of life’s greatest joys…and some of its greatest stresses, too.
You find yourself repeatedly having the same arguments with your partner or ending up in mismatched or unhealthy relationships. Maybe you struggle to build friendships and question whether you’ll ever feel a true sense of belonging within a group. Perhaps parenting feels overwhelming—you wonder if you’re doing it “right” or how your own childhood experiences influence the way you raise your children.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
Feeling isolated or disconnected from your partner
Struggling to find fulfilling romantic relationships
Experiencing difficulty finding or maintaining friendships
Doubting yourself as a parent or caregiver
Questioning the future of an important relationship in your life
INVESTING IN YOURSELF IS THE BEST WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS.
HOW INDIVIDUAL THERAPY FOR RELATIONSHIP ISSUES WORKS
At the end of the day, we can’t control how others respond or react. We can only control ourselves. In therapy, we’ll examine your own experiences and contributions to your relationships, tune into your needs & values, and help you cultivate connections that feel healthy, fulfilling, and aligned with what’s important to you.
Many clients come to therapy with questions about their relationships. They may want help with various skills or they may be confused about what is causing problems. I will help you look at what’s going on under the surface.
This deeper insight into yourself and your experiences can help disrupt old or unhelpful patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
With the right therapist, you should feel comfortable discussing and examining anything that is important to you including romantic relationships, your sex life, friendships, or parenting. I want to help you thrive in every area of your life.

No, this is individual therapy. That said, I also provide couples therapy! However, once I begin individual therapy with someone, my ethical standards prevent me from offering couples therapy to the same individual. This type of therapy is to work with individuals who want to address relationship challenges through one-on-one therapy.

Some clients decide to pursue individual therapy for this reason. I specialize in helping you gain insight into how you are engaging in your relationships (romantic, familial, and platonic). If you’d like support in better understanding your responses or reactions, this would be a great fit for you.
