THERAPY FOR MEN IN MINNESOTA, IOWA, AND WISCONSIN

Not just a provider, a partner, or a title — YOU. This is a space to be known beyond the roles and pressures.

What if strength looked like giving yourself a little grace?

Many men haven’t been told it’s okay to feel—that their emotions are valid, deserve to be named, and that they themselves are worthy of love and admiration. When so much of your identity is tied to being the provider, the steady one, the fixer, it can be hard to even recognize your own wants and needs, let alone voice them. Over time, that disconnection can turn into resentment, frustration, or just feeling lost. Together, we’ll work on helping you reconnect to yourself and learn how to express what you actually need.

From there, we’ll get curious about what’s not working, what hurts, and how you’ve been surviving. I’ll gently challenge you to notice certain patterns in your life, name what you’re feeling, and start making choices from a place of self-respect and confidence. I recognize that what you’re going through can be overwhelming. When your days are about providing, fixing, or just getting through, it’s easy to lose track of who you are and what you need. This is a space where we’ll figure that out together, while helping you learn to be kinder to yourself.

Let’s reconnect you with your own voice, help you access the parts of yourself that have been buried, and start building a version of your life that actually feels solid, clear, and fully your own.

Feeling unfulfilled doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you’re ready to reclaim what matters.

And seeking support isn’t weakness—it’s courage, strength, and self-respect.

Therapy can help you…

  • Start feeling like yourself again and less like you’re “performing.”

  • Put words to what you're feeling and understand the root cause of anger & other emotions.

  • Handle conflict without blowing up or disappearing altogether.

  • Get clear on what YOU want, not what’s expected of you.

  • Feel proud of the man you’re becoming and embrace who you are now.

  • Let go of shame and start building self-respect.

HOW I CAN HELP

Many people—especially men—come into therapy unsure of what to expect—sometimes skeptical, sometimes guarded, and usually carrying more than they’re letting on.

That’s okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out. That’s why I’m here.

We’ll start by building trust between us (without it, you’ll never feel safe opening up). I show up as your advocate. I bring honesty, encouragement, and a female perspective that’s free of judgment, pressure, or expectations. You don’t have to explain everything perfectly or try to impress me—you get to just show up and be human.
